Our story
A church born out of prayer
Christ in Totality PHD Ministries began the way most lasting things begin — small, quiet and on its knees.
The church was started in 2007 at Vyeboom, in Limpopo, South Africa. From the very beginning it drew people from far beyond its own gate — members were bussed in from Mission, Kurhuleni, Vhangani, Masia, Madobi, Makhasa, Tshivhulana and Tshitungulwana. In time the church relocated to Nweli Village, where signs and wonders were wrought by the hands of the man of God.
When Prophet Ramawa M.E. relocated to Nweli, a single crusade drew a crowd of about 500 people, and the first Sunday service that followed was attended by 150 people. Today the church draws members from as far as Thohoyandou (28 km away), Mbahe, Muraga, Tshikambe, Dumasi, Malavuwe, Lambani and the surrounding villages.
What has not changed is the pattern. People arrive carrying something. The Word is preached plainly. Hands are laid on the sick. The oppressed are set free. And families who came in strangers leave as brothers and sisters.
Today the congregation gathers at Nweli CTC, next to Nweli Primary School, under the tent when the crowd is large, and reaches believers well beyond Nweli through prayer requests, WhatsApp and visitors who travel in from across South Africa and abroad.

To preach Christ in His totality — Saviour, Healer, Deliverer and coming King — through prophetic ministry, healing, deliverance and faithful teaching of the Scriptures.
To care for the widow, the orphan and the family with an empty cupboard, because the gospel has hands.
The Word first
Every prophecy, every practice and every plan is weighed against Scripture. If it does not agree with the Bible, it does not stand in this house.
Dignity for every person
Rich or poor, healthy or sick, local or foreign — everyone is received with the same respect and the same order. Nobody buys their way to the front.
Integrity in ministry
Prayer and prophetic consultation are free. Giving is voluntary, recorded and used for the work of the church and the community.
The name
What “PHD” stands for
It is not a university degree. It is the assignment of this house.
- P — Prophetic
- The Lord still speaks. Direction, warning, correction and comfort are given as the Spirit gives them — always tested against the Word.
- H — Healing
- “By His stripes we are healed.” We pray for the sick and we celebrate what God does, without asking anyone to stop their treatment or ignore their doctor.
- D — Deliverance
- Freedom for those who are oppressed, bound or tormented — through the name of Jesus Christ, in order and without spectacle.
Prayer for healing is offered as a matter of faith. It is not medical advice, and the church encourages members to remain under the care of their doctor or clinic.

Founder & Presiding Prophet
Prophet Ramawa M.E.
Also addressed as Bishop Ramawa M.E. He founded Christ in Totality PHD Ministries and carries the prophetic, healing and deliverance mandate of the house. He receives visitors one-on-one by appointment.
Called by God in 1983, he trained at the AFM Theological Institute from 1985 to 1987. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Theology, and is currently busy with a Doctorate in Ministry. He has been ordained as a Bishop.
Lady over church leadership
Pastor Ramawa M.M.
Wife of the Prophet, and the lady over the church leadership. She serves alongside Prophet Ramawa M.E. in the work of the ministry and appears with him on the ministry’s Sunday service invitations.

What we believe
Our statement of faith
- The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and conduct.
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, crucified, buried, risen and coming again.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and is available to every person.
- The Holy Spirit empowers believers today, and the gifts of the Spirit — including prophecy and healing — are for the church now.
- Water baptism and Holy Communion are ordinances given to the church by the Lord Himself.
- The church is called to care for the poor, the widow and the stranger.
- Prophecy in this house is Word-based — every prophecy is weighed against Scripture.
- God is the healer of all diseases and sickness.
- People are delivered from demonic oppression, evil spirits and all forms of satanic bondage.
